Four people drown in Wennappuwa sea - three still missing

Four people who were bathing in the Wennappuwa sea have drowned and are missing, the police say.

The body of one person was later found, while operations are underway to find the bodies of the other three. Military assistance has also been used for this.

The police further stated that they are residents of the Nuwara Eliya area.
