A luxury bus veered off the road in the Wewatta area of Mahiyanganaya on the Ampara-Mahiyanganaya road.
The accident is reported to have occurred at around 2.30 am.
Mahiyanganaya Police said that no one on the bus was seriously injured in the accident.
